Get to Heaven?
The Bible states that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ and by believing in what He did for mankind. That is; He died for the forgivness of our sins, He did it for you.
"We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way." Isaiah 53 verse 6
It is like this, God made us to be His children. Not one of us has been able to live a perfect life and never turned away from God, from Adam and Eve to this present day; except the One that God sent, His Son Jesus Christ. Not only did He show us how we should live but gave His life by paying the tremendous price of our forgiveness. It is now possible to have peace with God and be with Him for all eternity.
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5 verse 1
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6 verse 23
Now some of you are thinking that Jesus was a good teacher that we can all learn from, just like Moses or somebody else. If you read the account of the life of Jesus from any of the 4 Gospels that are part of our Bible, you would find that Jesus taught a lot about; Himself being the Son of God, the savior of the world, He would have to die for the sins of us, & He is the only way to God the Father. Either He was who He said He was or a little bit mixed up, wouldn't you say?
Pray this with me: "Dear Jesus, I realize I am a sinner and that you died to forgive my sin. Please come into my life and help me to live the kind of life You meant for me to live."
Jesus said,"I have come that you may have life and that abundantly." John 10 verse 10
